Why take part in IMS ?
Through its participation in IMS, Hëllef Doheem would like to share its experiences and exchange best practices regarding CSR with other big actors on the Luxembourgish scene.
Indeed, this common initiative offers a platform for interaction, which supplements and enriches Hëllef Doheem’s intern procedures and ideas. Hëllef Doheem believes that IMS holds a great potential and that it will push the evolution of the public debate concerning CSR topics.
Which place does Corporate Social Responsibility hold in your company ?
As a key actor in the area of aid and treatments at home, Hëllef Doheem wishes to be seen as a creative and innovative association: trustworthy at all levels. This is why the foundation promotes and develops the responsible behaviour of its employees. Through its corporate actions and decisions, Hëllef Doheem leads the way by establishing strong links with its values and its core business: home aid and treatment.
The foundation Stëftung Hëllef Doheem promises to follow and promote a procedure of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Next to respecting legal dispositions, this involvement covers all activities and areas that can hoist values in regard to the individual, the foundation and society in general. The engagement is based on the logic of responsible and sustainable development, resting on its motto “humane and competent” and amplified by an absolute ethic procedure.
“Corporate Social/ Societal Responsibility” is thus an integral part of Hëllef Doheem’s corporate culture.
At the heart of Hëllef Doheem, CSR implies:
- the introduction of new practices, which include CSR in all areas
- the setting up of “transparency” strategies at the levels of management, social equity, sustainable development, environment preservation and economic efficiency
- the questioning and aligning of managerial attitudes
All 1600 employees are implied in these procedures.
What are your CSR policies and frameworks ?
The choices and decisions are subject to criteria of management transparency, as well as to social, societal, environmental, sustainable and economic responsibilities. Through small daily actions, the foundation aims to include all its employees and raise their awareness regarding this responsibility in their day-to-day actions, to make them "live" CSR.
