Kass-Haff, an associate member of IMS Luxembourg, is organizing its annual Open Day on Sunday, May 5, 2024, featuring the traditional "Bio-Second-Hand" flea market, as well as exhibitions and stands for associations, children's areas (playgrounds, shows, crafts...), concerts & artistic performances, the chance to interact with the farm animals, and organic food and drink for on-site dining.
Kass-Haff is more than just a farm. It's a mini-village, designed as a place where you can play, stroke the animals, observe, learn about farm trades, cheese-making, gardening, stroll with the family, have fun, but also buy organic food produced on site.
Visitors of all ages will be able to discover or strengthen their ties with the world of farms, animals, nature, and fellow citizens interested in these more resilient and sustainable lifestyles. The primary intention of Kass-Haff is to animate a place of emergence, of transition of another relationship to the land, to agriculture, to nature, to animals, to humans, to food, etc., in a collective way, while demonstrating the autonomy, interdependence and resilience of the projects within it.
A large number of volunteers will be on hand to prepare the site, welcome you, host the event and bring it to a close. A large number of partners will also be on hand to present their activities and stands, and run activities.
Free shuttles will be provided between Mersch and the farm to help you get there and to unload Kass-Haff from cars. Take public transport or park at the CFL parking lot in Mersch or the Lohr parking lot in Mersch.
